Eden, UT

Joe and Anna have served with Pioneer Bible Camp since 2014, and Joe became the Director in 2024. They are privileged to raise their four children (Timmy, Noah, Lydia, and Ethan) at camp.

Boa Vista, Brazil

Charles and Julie attended MBC when they lived in SLC, and we helped send them to the field. They work with Wai Wai people groups in Bible translation, church planting, training leaders, and discipleship.  Their ministry also includes writing, preaching and speaking, and helping with physical and medical needs of the people. They have four adult children.

Moyo, Uganda

Bible translation for the Ma’Di People of Uganda. Esther is new to this field and is still learning the language while building relationships with the local women. Matthew 28:18-20

Eden, UT

The Covers moved to Utah in 2024 with their four children. Allen assists the director with camp ministries including summer camps, retreats, youth rally, and family camps. He contacts Bible colleges to recruit summer workers and staff.

Topeka, KS

Joel spent his teen years at MBC and earned his Citation Award. Joel and Veronica serve as Awana Missionaries in KS and MO, and Joel serves on the Operational Field Leadership Team. He oversees 3 Field Directors and 12 missionaries as well as nearly 200 churches with AWANA clubs, whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel. They have four adult children.

Truckee, CA

Since 2012 Jeff has served as an Awana Team Leader, and he is the representative for the MBC Awana program. He equips pastors, churches and individuals to reach and disciple children, youth and families. Jeff and Judy’s passion is for developing leaders to serve churches in NV, UT, the Eastern Sierra of CA, Northwest AZ and Southwest WY. They have two sons.

Nadleh, British Columbia, Canada

Cara attended MBC during her teen years. Jerry serves as correspondence secretary and staff recruiter for Rock Nest Ranch Camp, serving the Carrier Indians. They do personal evangelism and mentoring, and Jerry is the town maintenance worker for the community of Nadleh. They have four grown children.

Bozeman, MT

Mike & Julie attended MBC when they lived in SLC and worked as Campus Crusade missionaries at the University of Utah. Now they work with colleges in MT to evangelize and disciple Native American students and plan parties and conferences for them. Kellys have four grown children.

Bangkok, Thailand

Chris moved to SLC to complete high school and attended MBC while he lived with Russ Anderson, who mentored him. He moved to Thailand with a mission organization, and met his wife there. Chris has a heart for Mentoring Men, Strengthening Marriages, and Teaching Truth. He often evangelizes men in red light districts, writes and teaches podcasts, video series, and zoom calls, and does outreach seminars to other countries. His program, Real Men Possessing Purity, is presented internationally.

Eden, UT

Steve was raised by missionary church planters in Utah and has lived here all his life. MBC was involved with Pioneer Bible Camp even before Steve and Rhonda became its directors from 1988 to 2024. They have been administrators, recruiters, music leaders, staff mentors, and done physical maintenance and building, along with all their leadership responsibilities. They have three grown children.

Orlando, FL

Lisa attended MBC when she worked with Campus Crusade at the University of Utah. She moved to Central Asia with CRU’s ministry of Athletes in Action, where she met Ravshan. Lisa served in other countries, including Kazakhstan for 30 years, but in 2023 CRU moved them to Fl. Lisa trains teams to reach people in the 10-40 window. Rav spreads the Gospel by showing the Jesus film in international locations. They have and adult son, Daniel.
