The Good Shepherd — John 10:1-21
One of the greatest comforts and joys we can have is to know that Jesus Christ is not only our Savior, the lamb of God who takes away our sins by His substitutionary death on the cross, but He is also our Shepherd. And He is a good shepherd! The one who leads us every step of our lives, in the good times and in the bad, in the trials and the triumphs, in the valleys and the mountaintops. He loves us. He cares for us. He watches over us. He feeds us. He protects us. He provides everything we need so that we lack nothing. Our cup overflows! On January 7th, we will be studying John 10:1-21 and see that Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd. He lays down His life for the sheep and leads us all the way to glory. There is nothing better than to have Jesus Christ as one’s Savior and Shepherd because He is the Good Shepherd!
