How in this World Can I be Holy? — Zechariah 14
The term worldliness is often used to describe attitudes and conduct that is opposed to God’s will. James wrote that friendship with the world is hostility toward God (James 4:4). Christians are in the world but are not to be like the world (worldly). In order for us to shun worldliness, we must know what it is and what it is not. What’s more, should worldliness be defined in terms of what we do, why we do it, or both? In the final chapter of Zechariah’s Old Testament book we are given some insight and direction. Sunday, we will answer two basic questions: Will this world ever be holy and How can you and I be holy?
