The Head of the Church (Part 1) — Colossians 1:15-17
We will begin a new sermon series on God’s Plan for the Church. We will start this study by looking at the most important member of the Church–Jesus Christ–in Colossians 1:15-20. In this passage, we will see that Jesus Christ is the preeminent one, the Creator of all, and the head of the Church. “In Him, [Christ] all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him, you have been made complete” (Colossians 2:9-10a).
