A Fond Farewell to Friends — Hebrews 13:7-20
When people ask me the question: How long did it take to prepare that message? I have a standard answer: “All my life.” This Sunday’s message is one that I have been preparing for since I graduated from Dallas Seminary in 1979. This Sunday, January 28, will be my last message as Senior Pastor of Midvalley Bible Church. I’ve been preparing for this all my life. This message comes with mixed emotions. On the one hand, both Connie and I are excited about our future. On the other, we will miss being part of this Church family. I will miss the weekly preparation for Sunday and the joy of preaching God’s Word. I will miss seeing the fruit of my labor as God blesses His Word. But it is time to transition to a new phase of my life and MBC to new leadership. This Sunday, I want to share from my heart. I hope you will listen as closely as I will have prepared. Pastor Doug
