Next Week’s Message: Love is Not Easily Angered or Love Does Not Have a Short Fuse! ~ 1 Corinthians
Next Week’s Message:
Love is Not Easily Angered or Love Does Not Have a
1 Corinthians 13:5
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “One of the blessings of old friends (is) that you
can afford to be stupid with them!” He’s right! It takes a lot to provoke a
friend to anger. In many respects, a good friend is like a fuse: the longer it
is, the more time it takes for things to blow up.
That means the opposite is true: short friendships or the absence of friendships can cause us to be short tempered. When the Apostle Paul said that love is not easily angered he meant that for a Christian, whether it’s a friend or an enemy, we don’t
allow the little things of life to get under our skin.
For some, anger is a real problem. Next Sunday, we want to look at this topic and provide insights that will help us regarding this characteristic of love.
